Nothing like a good, steaming bowl of chili on a fall day. Though it’s still in the 70s, you can get your fill of beef, beans, jalapenos, etc. at the Gowanus Yacht Club (323 Smith St. @ President) this Sunday. As you can see, to enter you’ll need to be bring two quarts of your best chili by 3pm. Promised are prizes and a panel of “celeb judges.” Hmmmm, I’ll be interested to see what goes as celebrity in these parts! But no matter, sounds like a great place to be on an (almost) cool day.
