This strikes me as a little weird — at the very least, fodder for debate. From Brooklyn Based, which I like a lot, a list of the best outdoor drinking spaces round our way:

Building on Bond: Civilized sidewalk seating on a leafy Boerum Hill corner; plus, $3 Sixpoints and other drafts during happy hour. 112 Bond St., 347-853-8687

Apt 138: Great white and red sangria, an all-day happy hour during the week (attention maintenance drinkers), and good buybacks in a beautiful backyard. 138 Smith St., 718-858-0556

Last Exit: Grill up your own BBQ in the garden. 136 Atlantic Ave., 718-222-9198

Abilene: South Carroll Gardens staple for sidewalk seating, and rightly so–you could fit an army (of drinkers) out here. 442 Court St., 718-522-6900

Hard to imagine such a list without a mention of Jever Pils at Gowanus Yacht Club (photo from the GYC’s ad on Eater seeking a hot dog chef). And I always enjoy the sunny and half-shaded space that eases into Pacifico. (I also enjoy the margaritas that Pacifico makes, the margarita being the perfect outdoor-drinking drink.) And yet another brief eulogy for Pit Stop on Columbia: A bottle of rosé, a burger with chopped tomatoes, and the constant cracking of petanque balls — bon temps.

What’s your favorite outdoor space for a drink — and what are you drinking when you’re there?
