It’s not often a famed French chef decides to hang in our little hamlet of Cobble Hill. And it looks like the folks at Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain are just as surprised that out of all the fabulous locales available, Alain Ducasse chose their little shop to be one of three locations in NYC that he will do an exclusive signing of 50 advance copies of his book, J’aime New York.
As you can imagine, the book is a stunningly photographed, wonderfully narrated story of New York’s greatest restaurants, cafes, bars, markets, hotels and food specialists. The signing takes place this Saturday, 13 October, at Farmacy (513 Henry St.) from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. With Chef Ducasse will be co-author and Food & Wine Magazine digital features editor Alex Vallis. Come for the signing, stay for an egg cream.
