You don’t know how much you miss something until it’s gone. That’s how I felt when Peek-a-Boo Kids closed on Court St. between Sackett and Union Sts. I didn’t especially love the store, but I also didn’t realize how much I needed my kids feet to be measured before I bought them new shoes. Zappos is awesome, but useless if you buy the wrong size. So hallelujah for Runnin’ Wild Kids Shoes, which will be opening in the old Sweet Melissa space at 276 Court St., as reported by Carroll Gardens Patch. According to its Facebook page: Runnin’ Wild Kids Shoes at 276 Court Street will provide all brands, style and sizes of kids shoes to Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill and Brooklyn Heights. Brands look to include faves like Geox, Crocs, Superga and Sperry Top-Sider.
