PS 29 Benefit for the Arts

Ok, a little odd that to hit this little PS 29 Benefit for the Arts, you have to leave Brooklyn for the evening. But it’s only the Bubble Lounge in Tribeca–you won’t need your passport. Touted as an Evening of Short Readings and Tall Cocktails, this night in Manhattan features plays, poems and other art-related shenanigans along with special guest Lili Taylor. Tickets for the 1 February party are $40 a person, $70 a couple and it runs from 6:30pm to 9pm–leaving plenty of time to come back to the hood for a few extra cocktails at the Clover Club if you can keep the sitter.
UPDATE: Someone pointed out that a PS 29 parent owns Bubble Lounge, which is why this event is taking place in Manhattan.
