Mikhail Prokhorov has filed paperwork to change the name of the New Jersey Nets, but at this point we don’t know what it will be changed to. (The change could simply be to “Brooklyn Nets” or “New York Nets.”) So… ideas? The L Magazine gives it a try, but I’m not sold on any of their suggestions. A commenter makes an interesting pitch for “Knights” — Brooklyn Knights, what we all are, at least phonetically.
