School + fall = return of Big Movies for Little Kids . If you haven’t been before, this is a film series specifically for children–and was previously screened only at Cobble Hill Cinemas at Court St. and Butler on Monday afternoons. This season, however, it will also be run outdoors at Toren Condo Garden Terrace, 150 Myrtle Avenue at Flatbush Ave., every Friday evening–for free. The first movie will be Charlie Chaplin’s The Kid, Monday, 20 September at 4pm, at Cobble Hill Cinemas (the rest of the schedule for that venue is not available yet). You can purchase a ticket at the box office up to a week prior to each screening–or online here. Then you can head to Downtown Brooklyn to see Spirited Away on Friday, 24 September at Toren Condo at 6:30pm. Free parking is also available on site.
