Yup, I know it’s a pretty lame headline, but seriously? I’m just plain bummed. According to the NY Post, the opening of Brooklyn Bridge Park will be pushed back once again to an unnamed date in the Spring.
Though the official line is the low usage of playground and park spaces in the cold weather, sources are still touting a turf war between city and state about who will control the area. We’re especially looking forward to the new playground at Pier 6 (near Atlantic Ave). Now let’s go guys, pull it together!
